Ashley Camper combines her down-to-earth Midwestern roots with a well-travelled eye. After graduating from Winona State University with a degree in Photojournalism she split her time between Minneapolis, Maui and London for many years allowed her to cultivate her unique aesthetic. A 2010 internship with Nick Onken in NYC, followed by assisting for Emily Nathan of Tiny Atlas Quarterly, and becoming the Hawaii contributor for Kinfolk magazine were key influences. In 2015, she was nominated for PDN's 30 Emerging Photographers. She continues to travel and tell rich visual stories with her signature use of light.
